Documentary wedding day in Stockholm

An assignment led by documentary storytelling. Instead of many arranged set-ups I followed the day as it unfolded, photographing reactions, conversations and the small moments between the planned parts.

Only the couple's portraits were directed, and briefly at that. The rest is observed, which requires the photographer to move quietly and read the room rather than interrupt it.

The result is a series that reads chronologically: preparations, ceremony, guests and evening. A comparable format can be booked for all or part of a wedding day.
